Born from a love of wild places
Rootwell was founded in 2019 by two hikers who got tired of buying outdoor gear that was destroying the very nature they loved. There had to be a better way.
We spent two years researching natural materials, visiting farms, and partnering with expert craftspeople before releasing our first product. Every decision we make starts with a single question: is this good for the earth?
Today, Rootwell is a certified sustainable business, carbon-neutral operation, and a growing community of people who believe the way we consume can be part of the solution, not the problem.
